Timeless Treasures‘ 2012 in-house and designer novelty collections feature vikings on organic cotton (earth friendly plunderers!), a bowling by Samarra Khaja, a fruit and jams print that speaks to my inner sticker-collecting 80s child, beautiful black-and-ivory prints to add to their continuously growing library, and mini ice cream and animal prints. I hope these last ones spark a trend of modern mini prints.
I had a really, really nice weekend with some exceptional women. I ate lots of cheese. But that’s not the only reason I had a nice weekend.
For a year now, my friend, fellow foodblogger, fellow homeschooler, and fellow cheese lover Rebecca from Foodie With Family and I have been planning for her to come to the ranch and teach a cooking class. Homemade mozzarella is one of her specialties, so some of my other good blogging friends came from far and wide to spend a couple of days, enjoy the class, eat cheese, and eat cheese.

I actually got a good bit of work done yesterday on the Pinwheel Sampler Quilt--no sewing, but a lot of drafting blocks and getting first drafts of instructions written. Today I hope to get more done. Maybe some block construction and in-process photography.
I also have to find a plumber, as I have a broken toilet. Fortunately, I have two others in my house--toilets, not plumbers. I haven't been able to get in touch
