I saw a bridge like this loom up in front of the rental car I was driving. It was in Massachusetts and a friend and I were leaving Boston to attend a meeting.

In my drawing the supports of the bridge are foreshortened a bit more than the real things, but, hopefully, you have seen a bridge like this and know what I am getting at.

Lovely Modern Grey Quilt by Lindsay

This is another gorgeous modern type quilt by customer Lindsay. Many different tones of grey fabric - I'm not sure if this was all from the same line but Lindsay coordinated them beautifully.  She wanted large freehand bubbles for the quilting. We used a light grey polyester thread by Madiera and the batting felt like a light blend which Lindsay supplied.

The backing is a white flannel with a few rows of pieced fabric left over from the top.

Fabric dolls


I am getting the doll itch again... I made this one a while ago and it was as much fun as dressing up a little girl. Some dolls take two or three days to make, depending on how many hours I have available at the time, but they are worth it.

I prefer to stuff them very firm, and like to paint on the shoes and facial features. Plain beige Kona muslim is my fabric of choice for

I went to the thrift shop to buy more jeans for my unintentional quilt.  I got ten pair (I have nine to work with since one pair fits my son).  But, that's not all I brought home.
