Pouches, Pouches Everywhere

So I got on a bit of a pouch-making roll these last few days. I wanted to hone my skills for the VMQG/PMQG pouch swap so I decided that this year's teacher gifts were going to involve pouches.

house quilts for sale (but not mine)

I have become obsessed with the little red schoolhouse quilt  pattern lately (see the previous post for picture of the progress on hand quilting mine). My friend Kristen sent me a link to one for sale on eBay so  I decided to see what else was out there on eBay.  I typed in “house quilt” on the search line and I got quit a few examples!  Here a just a few of the many I found.( click pictures to enlarge )

In the Meadow

In the Meadow is at the printer and it should be ready for shipping by Monday of next week. Maybe sooner if all goes well. There are seven quilt patterns and a hooked rug in this book. Check out the May 31st. blog post to see some of the other quilts.

Barb and I are planning for fall quilt market and our next loose feather project. I'm getting the frames tonight and will be doing photography soon.
