I have just about finished this little project that I started last week at Club Quilt….

I posted about the houses quilt top A few days ago. I started to quilt it last night. It always amazes me to see the transformation happen. A quilt becomes a quilt when the hand quilting is added! Before that it can be pretty but it’s still just a part of what it can become.
I did not have a quilting plan in mind before I started. I put the top in the hoop and let it tell me what to do. No Marking just quilt and

Masculine woodland Holly Taylor cotton printed fabrics were used in the creation of this machine sewn lap size quilt. Perfect to throw over your lap and to warm your feet at night.
Scenes from outdoor are framed by complimentary prints in log cabin design. Inside is a layer of cotton batting and the backing is another Holly Taylor leaf print. Quild binding is hand sewn and patchwork has been machine quilted through all layers.
Machine wash in cold water and dry low heat.
