It’s That Time, The Quilt for the Cure

This will be my 4th year to participate in the Quilt for the Cure cause in sewing together blocks gathered from the race for a cure race in Pittsburgh PA.  Here's where you can learn more about the process!  

Also, if you can help assemble a quilt from the blocks submitted, here are instructions on how you can join in and volunteer to assemble the quilts.  If you do volunteer, let me know.  I'd love to see how yours turn out as well.

Playing around with patchwork…

Hello everyone. I’m here to share my latest creation :-) It went together really quickly.

I don’t know what has got into me but I really enjoyed making my last quilt and writing the pattern so much that I’ve written another one. Some of this fabric was bought for me for my birthday and the rest is from my shop.

I love these colours together :D

Anyway, here are some photos…

Changing Plans

Back in May I said that my next quilt would be this one.

I am still not sure of the quilting design.  I am working on the plan but it isn’t right yet so this one is going on hold and I will be doing this one instead.

This vintage house quilt top has been on my to-do list for a few years now and I think it will make a great quilt.  I will not have to do any marking I will just

F.O. (Finally!!): At Home in the Woods Quilt

It's finally got a sleeve and is hung in our entryway. I think it's quite a show-stopper if I do say so myself!
