This machine waited longer than any other I have to get her own dress! She’s been wearing a “hand-me-down” that I made several years ago, so I am quite pleased to finally have another coordinating outfit in my sewing room!
I do believe I’ve gotten better at stitch in the ditch on the longarm than on the sewing machine! This one was made entirely on my Bernina 830, piecework, assembly, embroidery and quilting.
This was inspired by the one inch strips. One
I’m on a box kick these days. Ever since I was introduced to the boxes that Cathi at Quilt Obsession uses for her Inklingo projects, I’ve been on a mission to find some cute little boxes for me. And when I found out her Dear Hubby finds them at Dollar Stores, I think I hyperventilated. I mean, here in Texas we have a gazillion Dollar Stores. Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Dollar Store, the 99 Cent Store (guess they had to beat out those dollars by a penny), Dollar Bush, Dollar Corporal. Well, maybe all except those last two.

Hey hey hey! I know it’s been awhile but I’m back with some fun things to share!
First off, if you’ve clicked over to the Pattern Shop, you’ll notice a new I Love Sushi quilt listing which teases you with a “coming soon”!

Last week I was running back and forth to the printers tweaking the cover. Since this is my first whole quilt pattern I’m publishing, hard copies are going to be available for sale in quilt and fabric shops, starting with a handful around Vancouver’s lower mainland.
This week I’ll get

Patchwork border of little frogs and big frogs alternating with coordinating dotted blue fabric, surround a larger section of big frogs. Quilt is backed in a large piece of sturdy white cotton fabric. Inside is a layer of low density polyester batting. Hand tied using embroidery floss.
Measures 30 inches x 37 inches.
Machine wash cold at permanent press cycle and machine dry on low heat
