The Man Who Can…..Did!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today has been a wonderful day for me :-)

Some of you will remember, almost at the beginning of my blog way back in February, that I was faced with a dilemma regarding an old non-working Husqvarna Viking sewing machine. It belonged to my late Mother-in-Law and I needed to decide whether to have it repaired or not. If you need to read the full story with all the lovely comments from yourselves again, or even for the first time, you can find them here

Anyway, after consulting fellow bloggers, the decision was made to

My Favorite Prints

Tn_IMG_7059_1

Whenever we have a new fabric collection, we design art prints to coordinate.  I have loved all of them, but these new ones from Lucy are my favorite.  I love them because they are so happy, they remind me of summer and they look so cute together.  I am going to hang 6 of them together in my little boy's room.  That's the plan, anyway.  Just as soon as his matching quilt gets finished!

The first one is customized

WHAT TO DO??

It's time to start a new project.....I've been shuffling around a stack of fabric to incorporate into a piece that features one of the deconstructed screen printed fabrics I made on one of our Fiber Junkies play days.

What I’m Reading This Month

I go through spurts where it seems I am reading a book a day. Right now I am reading through a huge stack of advance reads I need to review for upcoming work-related events. So at home I am enjoying some books I have had on my shelf or in my Audible queue for awhile.

104 and counting

Yesterday I took this quilt off the frame just in time to take to quilt club.  It's the only longarm work I did in the last two months. It's one of the options for my Twin Peaks class. Most of my classes I offer at least 3 variations for the project.

Last night Judy reminded me that when I got my longarm, I had over 100 quilt tops waiting to get quilted. It would seem I hadn't

Booth Blemish

I am always so proud of our booth.  It never fails, every show we vend at, we get such nice compliments.  Like,  "You're my favorite booth!" or "Oh my goodness, everything is so bright and beautiful!"  and my favorite...the person who walks up to the booth with her eyes wide open and jaw on the floor...no words necessary.  We work hard to make sure our booth is beautiful and inviting.  It wasn't until recently that I recognized a major blemish among the pretties.  THIS:
