I took this photo as I stood at the head of our driveway this morning. I love the contrast between the pink flowers of the KwanYoon cherry trees on our circle and the deep red leaves of our Japanese maple trees!

The weather is totally glorious today - mid 60's, sunny, very mild. Happy, happy sighes of appreciation from me! I'd be thrilled if it was exactly like this all

It’s been awhile!

Hi everyone.

I thought since I haven't been quilting/sewing a lot that I wouldn't blog but then I realized there's nothing wrong with using the blog to keep in touch anyway.

Where to start?... Okay, I got it. I AM working on a quilt. I had a new great niece born on October 5. I bought a kit the beginning of November but have barely started it. I'm feeling like maybe getting back to it now.
