The Butterfly Dance

Remember that little fairy from some weeks back I shared with you?

Among the busy that is just general daily life it just slipped my mind that I had not shared her with you.....yes she is finished and a new pattern is now available in store.

Her little face is just so sweet and cheeky, eyes wide open to the wonders among the butterflies, following their dance, listening to the secrets.

Can you see the little hand quilted circle around her?

It's my faux 'magnifying

Fall Quilt Market 2012: Riley Blake Designs – Lila Tueller

Lila Tueller had both a segment of the Riley Blake Designs booth as well as an individual booth to showcase her latest collection, Mystique.  Lila has developed a signature style that includes lots of funky florals slightly reminiscent of the seventies, and Mystique continues with this theme except for one small detail – it’s in black, white and shades of gray!

Lila’s individual booth won a booth award, and with that amazing mermaid silhouette gown front and center, I know you aren’t surprised!

Fall Quilt Market 2012: Riley Blake Designs – Emily Taylor

Emily Taylor was in Houston displaying her new collection, Avignon, for Riley Blake Designs. You’d never guess that this was Emily’s first Quilt Market booth, as every detail was just perfect.

Avignon is a bright and cheery collection showcasing Emily’s signature style of paisleys, detailed florals, and damasks in an eye catching color palette of teal, orange, and lime.

It also features some fun plaids and houndstooth checks which make it an excellent choice for clothing and quilting alike.

My Blogger’s Choice Bundle

Kimberly of The Fat Quarter Shop invited me to create a Blogger’s Choice Fat Quarter Bundle, and of course I said yes! I have to admit it is something that I’ve always wanted to do. I tried to pick all vintage-inspired prints. The colors were drawn from this pillow

Spring Quilt Market 2011: Riley Blake Designs

Riley Blake Booth

Riley Blake took a blue ribbon in their category for booth design. They had a TON of cute samples from most of their new lines, not to mention a beach cruiser as a part of their Cruisin’ With Riley Blake Contest (there is an actual Cruise at stake).
