Not that he really went anywhere, but Arthur Cabbage, My sweet little friend is back from the pattern testers and ready .You know, it is the things that I make and really love that I find hardest to share, maybe because I love it so much I worry that other people won’t.

Valentine’s is less than a month away – so I’ve pulled together a quick list of free patterns that are online – quick and easy selection that you can make as a gift or for yourself!
Janome has a really sweet wall hanging designed by Jan Spolar. Called “Keep the Heart Truth Growing, it showcases applique and decorative stitching. Full instructions are on the Janome website here.

As usual, a visit to the Westminster/Freespirit/Moda booth at Market did not disappoint. There is a lot of ground to cover these days – Amy has already told you about some Freespirit designers and surrounds, I’m here to cover the big guns, starting with Tula Pink.
Tula Pink’s new range, Saltwater, is maritime themed and features shells, octopi, waves, and lifebouys. There are three colourways of aqua, coral and seaweed. There are 24 pieces in the range, plus six voiles and four laminates.
