I was cutting a massive order of {Textured Fabric} for a customer today.  You know I really should let you in on this incredible fabric. I bet a lot of you have not even tried it.. right?  If you used to use Sandcastle from Dan River Fabric company years ago, then this fabric is very similar. It is manufactured by Moda and I carry it in natural and tan colors.

This is 100% cotton slightly heavy weight fabric... let's take a look

Happy Sunday everyone!

Without further ado, I really need to welcome all my new followers this week, many of whom have found my blog via Claire, my wonderful cross-stitch friend in France. I know you are all waiting for the Mystery Stitch Along and I hope you can wait patiently for just a few more days :-) I’m very excited about it as I’ve never organised a SAL before and I know there are already several people signed up. Holey Moley... I'm sending a few quilts out to a shop in Texas where I'll be teaching this summer. The shop is owned by Laura Kay Houser.. "Happiness Is . . . Quilting!".. fantastic name eh?

I got two quilts to send and one didn't have a label.. WHAT?? I'm HUGE on labels.. but .. these things happen! Are you good about labels?

When we travel I do a lot of thinking, planning.... surfing (oh yeah.. TRUTH!). And I replan my life a zillion times to see what I might like to change. Do you do that?  Well I know one thing I need to change is to actually SEW MORE.. serious... I'm in a paper load mode recenlty and it's just got to stop.  So now, more than ever,  I LOVE getting an email with a photo in it.. and it's evern better if that photo is a your version of one of my designs!
