Hello there and a very happy Monday to you!! I had a wonderful wonderful weekend with friends going to a women's conference. It was inspiring and uplifting. This was my 2nd year going and I can't wait to go again next year.

Handmade Shop Liquidation

I am closing down Sherrod Studio for good. I sold some handmade products over the holidays and these are what's left. I have them marked down at 40% off. They would make great Mother's Day gifts, special occasions or to keep for yourself.

I have them all listed in my Etsy shop. If you would like more than one, please convo me for combined shipping.
Use the coupon code: SALE40 to receive the 40% discount.

Photo Bag

This photo bag came about because my friend asked me to make it for her. She has 6 grandchildren but the bag her daughter gave her only holds 4 photos and her grandson was wondering why his picture was not on the bag. Poor little guy was feeling a bit left out.

I had bought this material to make some bags for our girls. I bought a bit

Sweet Little Pleats

I had a sweet customer who ordered the Sweet Little Pleats pattern thinking it was the actual tote bag. After she realized that, I offered to make her the bag and charge her for the difference since she doesn't sew at all. She asked orange fabrics since that's her daughter's favorite color. Her daughter will be using it to put her scriptures. I am so glad I have a bit of the Joel Dewberry fabrics left to make the tote bag for her.

Christmas Projects

This year I am trying to make an effort to sew some handmade gifts. I love Madame Samm's coin purse tutorial. It comes together really fast. These are the first two that I finished.

I bought the black and red Kanji (Alexander Henry) print to make a drawstring bag for my daughter's friend and had a bit of fabric leftover to make this coin purse.

Drawstring Bag

Recently my daughter's friend asked if I could make her a simple drawstring bag. She wanted an Asian print from Alexander Henry called Kanji.

I quickly made the drawstring bag and DD delivered it to her a few days ago. That's all for today. I'm off to finish binding a quilt.

Sweet Little Pleats Tote

I am so excited to finally finish my Sweet Little Pleats pattern. I've been sitting on this for a few months now working to make sure that the instructions are easy to understand. I have a few people to thank for that. They are awesome to work with and I am so lucky to know them.

When I was making my Sweet Little Pleats bag, I

Pattern Re-Launch

Update: There is a glitch going on at my shopping domain. Please shop over at my Etsy store until this gets worked out.
I am re-launching my pattern line and a name change to it also. I love Sherrod Studio but it just didn't quite fit in with quilting and sewing. It's more like a photography studio name. Hence I am officially changing it to
